Leveraging AI: The Good, The Bad, The Scary
AI is the hot new thing in town, like gelato or waffle sandwiches.
It doesn’t seem weird because the world of the Internet, just like the world of food, is ever evolving, but when it first comes out there’s very distinct lines of:
1.) What the flipper flapper is this?!
2.) OMG where have you been my whole life?
3.) It probably sucks but also I’ve never tried it???
If you have (and we’re talking about AI here, not those other delicious things) you’ve most likely found a way to leverage it for your work somehow.
Unless, like one of our developers (not naming names here coughEriccough) AI completely freaks you out and you prefer to use regular intelligence. No shame here!
If you’re the more adventurous type, like our developer Susan, ChatGPT seems to be the way to go. Whether it’s for copy prompts, helping figure out a little bit of code, or taking over your job, ‘tis the fan favorite to get the job done.
While ChatGPT sure is useful on the agency end, someone like me has more use of something like FathomAI - an AI Zoom note taking software that records your calls (ooh, scary!) it doesn’t just create a transcript, but also adds in highlights, action items, and summarizes the call for you.
And copywriters are worried AI will take their jobs?
Which AI tool are you scared of excited for? Does your company use AI yet, or are you an RI type – regular intelligence?
