Week of May 29th - The Latest

As the administrative assistant — and resident Joy Concierge — here at WOTW, I am privy to alllll the behind the screens intel on marketing initiatives, new site launches, and, of course, all the things that didn’t quite go to plan.

Here’s all the sweet, sweet tea.

We’re almost finished recording our second season of No Surprises. This time, we’re focusing on the creative process, an everflowing, purposefully vague, delightfully interesting topic — especially from the perspective of the people we’re talking to! You’ll want to keep an eye out for this one.

We’re also bringing on a new marketing intern, which is exciting for many reasons, one of which is that marketing is a huge lift for our mini but mighty team. New perspectives and extra help are always welcome, and we’re excited to have Emma here for a few months.

What’s else is happening in the WOTW-sphere:

You may or may not be familiar with our Instagram, where we’ve started crowdsourcing content from our team all over the world. I guess we’re the new Mr. Worldwide?

What we’re testing:

We’re giving our blog and newsletter a bit of a revamp! We’re tapping into the minds of the WOTW team (you might have seen a few already), and sharing all the different aspects of not just the agency, but our personal experiences of what’s ~trending~. Love it? Like it? Hate it? We want to know if you’re into the new style!

ALSO. We’re talking to business owners with websites — yep, that’s literally the only qualification — so if you have one, we’d love to talk to you! (Well, you’d be talking to me, but I promise I’m fun.) We would love to pick your brain if you’re available

Big wins:

Zibby Mag won a Webby Award for Best Cultural Website, which is basically the digital Oscars, so yeah, the excitement was high around here. Alex is an IN-CREDIBLE designer, so I’m not surprised to see this!

The testimonial that got shared everywhere on Slack, because of the pure happiness:

After reviewing several website creators, I knew I had to partner with WOTW. They responded to my initial inquiry within hours, and as a New Yorker, the speediness is greatly respected and appreciated. Katie arranged a phone consultation with me and after a full hour of devoted conversation, I booked WOTW on the spot. There was no need to speak with any other companies. When you know, you know. Throughout the entire process with my Project Manager, Anna, and my innovative web creator, Shelly, I felt completely taken care of, from asking them to continually push the bounds of what the site could do, to asking them for completely custom animations, they were absolutely amazing. The synergy was perfection and the creative process was effortless. Thank you, ladies, for bringing my vision to life and adding the creative flair that only WOTW could deliver. You have a legacy client in Anée Atelier and many more that will follow, if I have anything to do with it. Thank you a million times over!
