Scams & Phishing

Recently, we’ve seen a rise in scam emails and phishing attempts that are impersonating Week of the Website and founder Kelsey Gilbert Kreiling. These emails warn you against changes to your site or search engine optimization concerns.

These emails are a scam and an attempt to gain access to your site.

How you can stay safe:

  1. We will never email you from an @gmail.com address

  2. Never give access to your website to anyone unknown

  3. When in doubt, please contact your WOTW project manager or developer to confirm email

  4. If you receive these emails, please report them to google as spam or phishing.

If you have any questions, please reach out to support@weekofthewebsite.com and we can help!
