Let’s Get Launched

It’s Friday, and we’re in love with these recent Squarespace sites, as designed by the talented WOTW team

Alpha Custom Yachts

Developer: Shelly Morse
Project Manager: Katie Stipanovich

What our PM says: “Shelly Morse stretched the limits of what Squarespace can do with this site, for a custom yacht-building company. DOUBLE. MEGA. MENUS. What else is there? Fun fact: the WOTW consensus favorite? The Alfresco 125.”

San Diego Parks Foundation

Developer: Attalie Dexter
Project Manager: Jeannine Gallagher

What our PM says:Attalie brought a fresh design and a much cleaner user experience to the San Diego Parks Foundation's website. Pops of light green against the dark green of the logo and graphics give the site a little playfulness and contrast, without taking away from how clean it feels — which was important for their team. Check out the logo and leaf graphics that were pulled in for the backgrounds with that light green to match the site (check out the pops in the nav links too!). Attalie rounded out the design with some animation and a scrolling logo marquee that provides the perfect amount of movement. It’s an awesome site and they were an amazing client who was so impressed with the WOTW process. Check out the site here!”

Street League

Developer: Alex Lucke
Project Manager: Jeannine Gallagher

What our PM says:Alex put together a fresh site for Street League, a UK-based nonprofit supporting underprivileged youth in finding/prepping for employment, and using sport and education to get them there. The main goal for the site was to give both of the group's audiences — young people wanting to join and those supporting their cause — an easy site to navigate and find what they need, which was something trendy and interactive for the youth, and something elevated and professional for supporters and donators. Both goals were achieved and the client loves it!
Check out the logo movement on scroll when you land on the homepage, the circular text movement, graphic use and tied-in textured backgrounds in gold, image/text animations, and the awesome use of the moving text ribbon throughout. A super clean, classy site.”
