The tools, tricks and tiny little details that keep our project managers on point.

How did you get into project management?
I own a wedding planning firm, and if there’s anything I’ve learned about helping folks through the wedding planning experience, it’s that having a good project manager on your side is essential. So much stress occurs when you don’t set yourself up for success or you ruminate on ideas and details for too long. A good project manager points out what you need to get done and helps you make an empowered decision.
Favorite WOTW project you’ve worked on and why?
I really enjoyed working on www.lopezsaroldi.com, because our developer implemented a translation tool so that people with different language backgrounds can visit the site. It’s always interesting to learn more about what different people need for their websites.
Where do you work best?
I work best in our home office when I need to be diligent. When I have time to dive deep into something and be creative, I love to work from a lil’ cozy corner chair in our apartment.
Workspace essentials?
Water, double monitor, pen and paper.
Can’t-live-without organizational tool?
Google Calendar. Thank goodness for those 10-minute reminder notifications.
Favorite part of the WOTW process?
When set-up is perfect, content is in on time and the client is excited, the end result can be amazing. A week of committed work to a website is going to give you an amazing product!
Best source of creative inspiration?
Taking a long shower and just thinking.
Favorite shortcut or tip of the trade?
Don’t make to-do lists that are way too long, because then you’ll skirt around the things you actually need to get done by doing all the smaller things first.
What are you binge-watching?
‘Ugly Delicious.’ I seriously cannot wait to travel and eat out again!
Favorite meal?
Goldfish Crackers and good red wine.
What are you hoping for in 2021?
Spontaneity! My partner and I decided to up and go to AZ for a month just a week before leaving. I hope 2021 brings more opportunities like that, whether it’s because work is more flexible or because people want to be spontaneous.
