Technology is amazing. There are apps and programs to seemingly solve every small-business issue, helping to simplify the day-to-day so you can grow your business. It’s all great — in theory. But with so many different programs out there, transferring the necessary information between your different digital hubs can just create MORE work and contribute to a to-do list that seems to grow exponentially no matter how hard you work.

Katie: Yes.
Let’s talk Zapier. Rather than manually taking info from one site and transferring it to another, Zapier connects with the essential program of your choice, automatically moving that data to the next place it needs to live. For example: You get an email with attachments. Zapier automatically copies those attachments to Dropbox, then sends a Slack alert that you have new attachments — all without even having to log in to your email. Other programs that can be connected through Zapier include Asana, Stripe, Mailchimp, and more.
Katie says: “As much as we LOVE Squarespace, sometimes there are limitations when it comes to connecting data to other systems and software. Enter Zapier. Zapier makes it easy to funnel any information via Squarespace — think forms completions, email signups, and the like— into the third-party program of your choice. Favorites include Slack, Google Sheets, Hubspot, and Salesforce. Plus, more are getting added every day!
