WOTW Site Round Up: July 2021
A few of our favorite sites from the last month.
July was a busy one. The WOTW team tackled everything from giant, from-scratch builds to small makeovers for businesses in a wide range of industries, including real estate, medical, law, our first doula site and more. Fortunately, we found inspiration working outside the home — or just outside, taking in the glorious summer weather.
Check out a few of our faves, with insights from the designated Project Managers.
LoudMouth Agency
Erica Barrett — who calls herself the “Big Mouth” behind LoudMouth — needed a site that conveyed the bright, bold, fearless approach of her full-service talent and brand management agency.
(If Erica looks familiar, it might be because the chef/TV personality pitched her own brand, Southern Culture Artisan Foods, on “Shark Tank.” And yes, she landed a deal.)
Developer: Alex Lucke
Project Manager: Katie Stipanovich
What our PM says: “Alex crafted a website for Erica Barrett's talent agency that’s full of fun, unexpected features, including some surprises as you scroll down the home page (that gif!), the cool marquee scroll under ‘brands’ and the fun rotating logo on the contact page.”
Two Cathedral Square
Set to open in 2022, this Philadelphia development features a mix of top-tier residential, retail and office space, plus a plaza with plenty of walkways and green areas. They wanted a site that was inviting, elegant and clearly conveyed the project’s vision.
Developer: Alex Lucke
Project Manager: Jeannine Gallagher
What our PM says: “This up-and-coming office space in Philly’s business district had to promote its message of elegance, prominence and prestige. The image placement is amazing, the additions of movement throughout the site highlight the awesome images and videos, and the interactive maps embedded are pretty cool and extremely helpful.”
Bluedoor Urgent Care
This LA-based clinic takes a unique approach to healthcare, blending Eastern and holistic options with the traditional urgent care model. A soft, warm safe environment is a cornerstone of their approach, and they wanted a site that radiated that same feel.
Developer: Shelly Morse
Project Manager: Alaina Gregerson
What our PM says: “Shelly created an amazing site for Bluedoor. The colors and the fonts work really well, and she incorporated a few fun features, like a custom map marker. Plus, she made a really extensive menu concise and navigable. There’s more to come as they launch their e-commerce and additional pages Shelly built for them as well.”
Dr. Kristin Toffey
This licensed psychologist specializes in treating anxiety, OCD and related disorders, and needed a soothing, seamless site that reflects her similar approach.
Developer: Attalie Dexter
Project Manager: Jeannine Gallagher
What our PM says: “As the owner of a psychology clinic in New York that is experiencing rapid growth, Kristin was looking for a really warm, inviting aesthetic for her site. Attalie really delivered. The colored sections are fantastic, the accordion text sections are beautiful, and the font fits so elegantly with the site! No kidding, this project was EXTREMELY smooth.”
Igniting Power Program
With a mission to help blind and visually impaired people connect to jobs, this organization needed to communicate with job seekers, employers and service providers — and, most importantly, provide an accessible site.
Developer: Justin Mabee
Project Manager: Alaina Gregerson
What our PM says: “This site was brought to us by their consultant, who had previously worked with WOTW for her personal site. This program connects the visually impaired and blind communities to training and jobs within the talent acquisition sourcing industry.”
