How did you get into project management?
I stumbled into project management when I worked for a healthcare startup that needed someone to manage project launches.
Favorite WOTW project you’ve worked on and why?
Small World! They’re a great team based out of London that is looking at marketing differently. They provide small, start-up and scaling businesses access to full-service marketing services through their growing community of freelance marketing professionals. Our team got to flex their creative muscles creating a website that matched the personality of the client alongside their amazing branding.
Where do you work best?
At a coffee shop with a great playlist and a soy latte.
Workspace essentials?
A second monitor, when available! Once you use a second monitor, it’s hard to ever go back. That and my dog Banjo, or more commonly known as Jo-Jo. [Pictured below.]
Can’t-live-without organizational tool?
My planner! I keep it classic with a pen and paper planner to ensure that projects, travel, and daily to-dos are kept organized.
Favorite part of the WOTW process?
The Discovery Survey. It is always exciting to get the first detailed glimpse into the project.
Best source of creative inspiration?
Exploring new places. There is something about leaving your routine that allows you to see things in new, unexpected ways.
What are you binge-watching?
I’m loving the new season of Final Cut on Amazon. I have loved fashion reality shows since the early days of ‘Project Runway.’
What’s your favorite meal?
At home, I like steak, baked potato and broccoli. At a restaurant, I love fresh pasta with a creamy tomato sauce.
What are you hoping for during the rest of 2021?
I hope to savor moments of connection that were missed over the past 18 months, like moments with friends and family, experiencing new places, and learning new things.
