Bon Vivant Cakes is a Chicago cake and cookie decorating studio founded by Emily Nejad — a hospitality-forward creative space where expertise meets personality and every class ends with someone saying "I can't believe I made that." From weekly cake and cookie workshops to happy hour classes, kids' sessions, private parties, and corporate offsites, BVC has built a devoted community around the art of making something beautiful and having a blast doing it.
We migrated their site from Shopify to Squarespace and built the storefront their business actually needed — playful, bold, and full of character. The centerpiece is a fully custom Eventually ticketing integration engineered by WOTW's own Kelsey Gilbert-Kreiling, purpose-built to support BVC's drop-style class releases, deferred payment options, and multi-class booking in ways their previous Shopify setup simply couldn't accommodate. The result is a site that's as fun to use as it is to be in the studio.
