Cassandra Banks Foundation is founded in honor of the first Black woman to visit the South Pole. As an electrician, she paved an unconventional path. The foundation is in place to partner with industries and community partners to train, support, and inspire young Black women and other women of color in industries that may not be seen as accessible, such as electricity.
