Onboarding: Reyna Abigale Levine

The tips, tricks and tiny little details that keep our marketing expert on point.

Name: Reyna Abigale Levine

Current residence: Chicago, IL

How did you get into marketing?
I really like the movie ‘Dirty Dancing,’ and I really like helping people get their message out. I got started by crafting strategy that ‘carries the watermelon.’ I pitch in where I can, support people by championing innovative ideas, and help teams stay organized.

Favorite project you’ve worked on and why?
I really enjoyed working in Las Vegas this past spring, executing a live web series about experiential marketing. We developed a bespoke digital destination and produced all the content. It was a wild project, but very rewarding. Hear me pontificate here: https://socialive.us/case/beedance-future-proofing-video-production-case-study/

Where do you work best?
I work best from my home, which is wherever the Wi-Fi is. I don’t normally go to an office unless it’s a really special occasion. I travel a lot and have family in Israel — so you can find me in North American Central Time, or in Tel Aviv Standard Time.

Workspace essentials?
Coffee, Wrigley’s Extra peppermint gum, Spotify and my dog, Daisy.

Can’t-live-without organizational tool?
Smartsheet. Wow, this tool changed my life, and I use it every. dang. day.

Favorite part of the WOTW process?
I really like the part where we get to see the client's creative assets. This helps spark developer and project manager inspiration and allows us to tell brand stories in an exciting new way.

Best source of creative inspiration?
I can be a basic betch; I LOVE me a good Pinterest mood board.

Favorite shortcut or tip of the trade?
Don’t understand something? Pick up the phone. If it’s during normal business hours, it’s easier and faster to get the answer you need by finding the right resource, and just giving them a friendly call. Also, don’t make something a meeting that could have been an email.

What are you binge-watching?
Anything Zombies. Also, the Dahmer series is currently making my skin crawl.

Favorite meal?
Hummus, salads, pita.

What are you hoping for in the near future?
Continuing to get to work with people who speak in concrete terms and like actionable insights — oh, and whirled peas.
